The MODFABE project attended the European Geosciences Union General Assembly (EGU21), celebrated between April 19-30th. On April 26th the communication untitled ‘The Hydrosocial Cycle approach to deepen on socio-ecological systems analysis and water management‘ (EGU21-599) was presented in section HS1.2.5 – Hydrology in society: approaches for fostering collaborations across disciplines and beyond scientists. The aim of the communication was to outline the Hydrosocial Cycle approach (HSC) from both theory and practice perspective by highlighting the benefits of including social sciences approaches in transdisciplinary research collaborations when testing water management strategies affecting competing and dynamic water systems.
